Hydrogen is the future, we can sense it!™

H2scan is excited to announce the release of two new process hydrogen analyzing systems. Both of these systems have NEMA 4X enclosures and are designed to continuously monitor hydrogen in either air (model 720AS) or nitrogen backgrounds (model 1700AS). Additionally, both have been proven extremely successful at ExxonMobil and Air Liquide, allowing them to improve process control and enhance efficiency. Below is a brief description of the two systems:

HY-OPTIMA™ 720AS Process Hydrogen Analyzing System
(picture above may reflect optional equipment)
It is designed to continuously monitor hydrogen up to 4% in an air background. The model 720 is a solid-state sensor configured to operate in background gas streams having up to 95% relative humidity and temperatures up to 100°C. A vacuum pump is used to draw the source gas into the monitor and a vacuum regulator and flow meter are used to control the process stream to the sensor. It is capable of measuring gases from 2 alternate sources and is capable of doing the field calibration without removal from the system. A single 110V inlet power connection powers all the components in the box. The output is RS232 serial output and a 4-20 mA analog signal. To provide added safety, all power supplies, vacuum pump and terminal strips are all placed in an integrated explosion proof enclosure.

Pictured system includes: vacuum pump, vacuum regulator, gas flow meter

HY-OPTIMA™ 1700AS Process Hydrogen Analyzing System
(picture above may reflect optional equipment)
It is designed to continuously monitor up to 100% hydrogen in nitrogen and up to multiple atmospheres. A flow meter us used to control the process stream to the sensor. The model 1700 operates in up to 95% relative humidity and temperatures up to 100°C. To comply with the intrinsic safety requirements, a separate explosion proof barrier/power supply assembly is provided. The on-board heater and cooler allow continuous operation of the analyzer over a wide temperature range. A single 110V inlet power connection powers all the components in the box. The output is RS232 serial output and a 4-20 mA analog signal. Additionally, field calibration can be performed without removal from the enclosure.

Pictured system includes: Vortex cooler, Heater, Two-Stage regulator, Temperature gauge, Gas Flow meter
