In the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, Mike Powell, Technical Sales at H2scan, met with representatives from BP Refinery in Texas City, TX. He reports that there is a “promising application of monitoring H2 leaks on their compressor deck in the third largest refinery in the US,” and that after the immediate clean-up following the hurricane is completed, further action will be taken.
This is just one way that Mike Powell is making H2scan a better company month by month. He has been with H2scan since 2006 when H2scan’s CEO, Dennis Reid, a personal acquaintance of his, decided that Mike would be right for the company after a position opened in the Sales Department.

“Mike has worked with me since I joined the company in June 2007 and has been a key player in growing the company sales. He is very diligent in pursuing leads and following-up on opportunities. During his tenure with the company, he has acquired a large amount of product knowledge and is well liked by his customers. He is known as one who provides excellent service,” adds H2scan’s Vice President of Sales and Business Development Cyril Berg.
Mike adds that we should remember Air Liquide in coming months, as “several promising applications were discussed and are moving forward.” We look forward to hearing more from Mike in the future.
